If a DX100 factory-racked system is purchased,
installation of the rack and all DX100 components
ordered with and for installation in the
rack is included. Order this separate installation
charge for non-factory-racked DX100 system.
This installation charge includes one DX100
base system (D1-32/250-C or -N) plus up
to two DX100 Expansion Arrays (D1U-4AE-F)
installed together during the same site
visit. If just adding DX100 Expansion Arrays
(D1U-4AE-F) to an already installed DX100
system, order SN-TC-PNx Field Add-on/Upgrade
Trip Charge for installation of up to two

SN-QD-PN1 7000500-03 "Quantum DX30/DX100
Standard Integration, zone 1 (NA)
For North America only. Standard installation
of the DX30/DX100 (if included or separately
purchased) concludes with a demonstration
that the devices are visible to the host
(if connected via SCSI) or first switch
(if connected via Fibre Channel). The Standard
Integration service supplements the standard
installation with a two-day engagement that
includes configuration of one major manufacturer
host bus adapter (HBA), virtual tape replication,
testing and confirmation of all implemented
configurations, capture throughput between
host and the DX unit from the ISV application,
creation of two near-term backup policies
including establishing an expiration strategy.
If installation is not included in the price
of the base system (i.e., non-racked systems),
then installation must be purchased as a
prerequisite to order Standard Integration."
