Safe Capsule, is a 2 drive RAID 1 Protected storage solution for use with Time Capsule®. The Safe Capsule allows you the ability to add more network storage up to 2 Terabytes, to store your photo & music files but also protects whatever’s stored within via RAID 1 mirroring technology. The Safe Capsule conforms perfectly in size to the Time Capsule®. Simply stack your Time Capsule® onto the Safe Capsule and connect via the USB port and your safe network storage is ready to go! The Safe Capsule is designed with RAID 1 mirroring technology that provides protection for your valuable data, It holds two independent drives where one is the primary source for you to read data from and write data to and the secondary one. With RAID 1 your primary drive is mirrored and backs up all the data stored on the primary drive. The Safe Capsule can reach speeds of 480Mbps when directly attached to the computer system. The Safe Capsule keeps the 2 drives inside running cool with an integrated 6cm ball bearing fan and a internal power supply keeps your workspace clutter free from having a power brick or ac adapter taking up your workspace.

The SOHOTANK 8 BAY ST8 ST8-U5 uses mini-SAS for the best output performance. The SAS version, SOHOTANK ST8 ST8-U5 is capable of accepting either SAS or SATA hard drives for the most cost effective and flexible storage system. Regardless of the model chosen, the SOHOTANK is built tough, with an all aluminum chassis to protect the enclosed drives. Cooling is provided with 2 large, quiet, 90mm ball bearing fans for continuous heat dissipation. Equipped with removable hard drive trays, installing, removing or upgrading drives capacity is absolutely hassle free. There are no extra wires to attach, simply insert the drive to the designated slot and go! Each drive tray includes a locking mechanism to secure the drive in place to keep your drives and data safe.

The SOHOTANK is available in 2 models allowing for use of eSATA port multiplier technology or the flexibility of mini-SAS depending on the product used. The SOHOTANK ST8 ST8-S2P utilizes 2 sets of eSATA ports multiplier connectors, allowing 4 drives to be connected using only one single SATA cable, effectively reducing the amount of cables needed to connect. Two cables are all that’s required to connect 8 drives to the host machine.

The internally built RAID 1 controller in the Pro Drive PD2510 model, controls all data entering it by duplicating them into two sets and then storing them in real-time into the two drives enclosed so you’ll always have two sets of the exact same data in the system to protect against possible drive failures which a standard 3.5 inch lacks to provide. And since it’s a hardware RAID, no further set up will be required. Just install the drives and the Pro Drive will automatically form the RAID 1 functionality. The Pro Drive PD2520 model enhances the I/O speed performances by combining the capacity of the two drives enclosed into one large volumeto increase the bandwidth of the I/O throughput.
